Hot tubes are all tubes that are hot-drawn in production. The high temperatures present the test systems with special requirements. FOERSTER has accepted this challenge and developed a special sensor system for hot applications.

DEFECTOMAT: The DEFECTOMAT is used for testing semi-finished products for point and transverse defects in the material. The DEFECTOMAT comes in various versions to meet requirements.

DEFECTOTHERM: This sensor system was developed specially for use with hot materials and together with the DEFECTOMAT facilitates reliable defect testing, even at 1,200 °C.
